Similar to last year, admission to several high school events will cost $5, while tickets for other high school games and all middle school sports will be $3.
Fall and winter events were $4 per ticket until the 2006-07 school year. The previous year saw the Cascades Conference initiate a raise of ticket prices at its member schools. Though Manchester avoided the increase for one year, it raised its prices by a dollar for the 2007-08 school year. Manchester was the last Cascades school to raise its prices to the uniform amount.
Varsity and junior varsity football, varsity and JV boys and girls basketball, varsity wrestling duals and quads, varsity and JV volleyball, volleyball tripleheaders (where varsity, JV and freshmen teams play) and the Manchester Metric Relays will all charge a $5 fee.
All Manchester Middle School events as well as boys and girls freshmen basketball (single games), freshmen volleyball (single matches), varsity and JV baseball, varsity and JV softball, high school track and doubleheaders for baseball and softball will charge $3.
Senior citizens age 62 and older will have free admission to all Manchester athletic events. Pre-kindergarten children will also have free admission.
Manchester is once again offering ticket packages and student season tickets. Packages of 10 tickets are $40, as are season tickets for students. For parents, adult season passes for the fall and winter will be $50.
High school and Cascades Conference passes for the 2008-09 season will be the only ones accepted this year. However, the passes will not be accepted at the Manchester Metric Relays or at any tournament, district or regional sporting event.
Members of the eight-school Cascades Conference include Manchester, Napoleon, Addison, Grass Lake, Michigan Center, Hanover-Horton, East Jackson and Vandercook Lake.
