Kemeter honored by Optimists

The Manchester Optimist Club recently named Manchester High School junior Brian Kemeter as Student of the Month for the month of March. He is the son of Gene and Sharon Kemeter of Manchester.

Kemeter's cumulative grade point average exceeds a 4.0, ranking him near the top of his class. He has received several academic awards in the past three years. He has also been a scholar athlete for the past three years.
Kemeter is involved in many extra-curricular activities. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the Student Council, and a mentor in the Mentor/Mentee program. He has also served on administrative appointed student committees.
In the fall, Kemeter will return to the offensive line for the MHS varsity football team.
Outside of school, Kemeter enjoys spending time with friends and family and watching college football.
After graduation, Kemeter may attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor majoring in business.
