BARBARA "BUBBLES" HERRST

Barbara "Bubbles" Herrst, 56, of Manchester died unexpectedly Feb. 25, 2007, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was born Aug. 26, 1950, in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Forrest W. and Alyce M. (Bowers) Goll.
Mrs. Herrst graduated from Whitmore Lake High School in 1969. She worked at the University of Michigan Hospital in the nuclear medicine department. She had previously worked for many years at Sloan Construction.
Mrs. Herrst was a member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church, where she faithfully typed the church bulletins. She also loved to bowl, bowling in five different leagues.
On June 13, 1970, she married Lloyd Alan Herrst, and he survives.
Other survivors include her siblings, Shirrell (Marv) Fischer, Brenda (Ed) Stockwell, Mike (Joan) Goll, her twin Beverly (Wally) Lorenz and Tammy (Jeff) Braunscheidel; her mother-in-law, Rita Herrst; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor. The Rev. Charles Schulz will officiate. Burial will be at St. Thomas Lutheran Cemetery in Ann Arbor.
Arrangements were by Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea.
