Manchester trailed by two after the first quarter, but fought back in the second and took a 29-25 lead into halftime.
Schaible and the Dutchmen took over in the third quarter, as the senior scored 10 points in the frame, helping Manchester increase its lead to 47-35 entering the fourth. The Dutchmen locked down the Cardinals in the final quarter, allowing just eight points while pulling away for the win.
"We came out and had a nice third quarter," Manchester coach Bryan Barnard said. "We did really well with rebounding and taking care of the ball in the second half, and we got tougher on defense."
Schaible finished with 21 points to lead Manchester. Jake LaCross added eight points, while Randy Kleinschmidt had seven points. Zach Benedict scored six points, grabbed six rebounds and recorded six steals.
"Zach has made some important contributions defensively," Barnard said. "His ball pressure makes it hard for the other team to run its offense."
Zack Ysassi and Kevin Fielder each scored five points for the Dutchmen, while Nick Ball handed out five assists. Justin Welton and Sam Brown grabbed six rebounds each for Manchester.
"Everyone is developing a role on the team and knows what their job is," Barnard said. "They're not trying to do too much, but are making contributions that help the team."
