The event, which will give residents a chance to learn about the current financial state of the village, current and future development projects and the overall progress of the village government within the last year, is open to the public.
"Similar to the governor's annual State of the State presentation, I think this is a great opportunity to educate the residents of Manchester on issues that affect them and their children," editor Daniel Lai said. "It is my hope that we can expand this project in future years to include our state and national representatives and senators."
Other topics could include the village's roll in the Southwest Washtenaw Council of Government, the Manchester Community Joint Planning Commission, Police Services and the M-52 and downtown enhancement projects.
All attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
