Ball and Werner record 7 aces apiece in win over East Jackson

Manchester freshman volleyball defeated host East Jackson 25-14, 25-15 Jan. 16.

"The team is getting better at being aggressive up at the net," said Manchester coach Jenna Sparaco.
Pacing the Flying Dutchmen were Stephanie Ball and Emily Werner, each with seven aces.
Stephanie Steele and Taylor Heldt were strong at the net said Sparaco.
"They both played good defense as middle fronts," she said.
Manchester next hosts Grass Lake 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
On Saturday, the Flying Dutchmen travel to Chelsea for a match at 8:30 a.m.
On Feb. 1, Manchester visits Blissfield for a contest at 5:30 p.m.
